  DESCRIPTION:

The 6-level intensive English program consists of 25 hours of instruction per week focusing on grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking. In addition, students may choose from a variety of courses such as TOEFL Preparation, Accent Reduction, Computer Lab, Conversation, and others.

 LOCATION:

Spring International Language Center is located in Denver on the campus of the Auraria Higher Education Center, which houses the University of Colorado at Denver, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and Community College of Denver.

 APPLICATION INFORMATION:

Students must send a completed application, $75 application fee, and financial guarantee. Students are admitted up to the first day of the term.

 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

Students enrolled in the upper levels of Spring International may take 1 or 2 college classes at Community College of Denver. Graduate students may qualify to take 1 graduate course at the University of Colorado at Denver. Students completing Level 6 may enter Community College of Denver or Arapahoe Community College without a TOEFL score. A similar agreement exists with the Colorado Institute of Art.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

Airport pickup, assistance with housing, foreign student advisor, social activities coordinator to plan activities throughout term, full access to all campus facilities, conversation partner program.

 TRANSPORTATION:

The Auraria campus is served by buses and light rail from throughout the Denver metropolitan area. Denver International Airport, the major airport in the region, serves both coasts daily with non-stop flights.

DESCRIPTION:

Executive English Programs: Designed for business and other professional people, these 2-, 3-, or 4-week programs concentrate on improving the participants' ability to communicate effectively in business situations. Personalized English for Executives: Designed for the busy professional who requires a more flexible schedule than our sessions allow, this program provides one-to-one instruction geared to the participant's specific needs and objectives. Vacation English Program: Offered during the summer, this program combines instruction in conversational English, homestay with an American family, and numerous field trips to Denver and the Rocky Mountains.
