  DESCRIPTION:

The ESL Institute offers year-around, multi-level, academic preparation ESL classes. Classes meet 20 hours weekly, basic skill areas plus electives. Conditional admission to degree programs is available to qualified students. All students have acess to e-mail, internet, health center, sports, library, and other college services.

 LOCATION:

ten minutes from the Green Bay Airport, De Pere (20,000 pop.) is a suburb of Green Bay (100,000 pop.) in Northeast Wisconsin. St. Norbert College is located on the banks of the Fox River in a safe, park-like setting. The college enrolls about 2100 students.

 APPLICATION INFORMATION:

Applications are accepted year-round. $25 application fee; $100 housing deposit. Sessions begin January, March, June, July, September, and October.

 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

academic advising, conditional admission to degree programs at SNC, basic ESL classes with electives in debate, TOEFL prep., drama and public speaking. Tutors and conversation partners available during the academic year.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

Airport pick-up, orientation, use of College health center, sports center, computer labs, trips and activities, immigration and academic advising.

 TRANSPORTATION:

Airport pickup at Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay (GRB), ten minutes from campus. DePere is served by Green Bay bus lines.
