  DESCRIPTION:

A four level skills-based program, from beginning to advanced, designed for the serious language student. 20 hours of instruction per week in 15 week Fall or Spring semesters and an 8 week summer term.

Dormitory: $1,090.00-1,135.00 (must purchase meal plan for undergraduate housing - $1,065.00 to $1,330.00) Off-campus apartments: $400.00-$700.00 per month per apartment

 LOCATION:

The IECP is located in a charming university town on a campus known as one of the most beautiful in the U.S. The setting is quiet, peaceful, and safe. It is only minutes away from the rural Pennsylvania countryside and the metropolitan areas of Philadelphia, New York, and Washington, D.C. are about 5 hours away by car.

 APPLICATION INFORMATION:

Applications are accepted year round. Please submit the application and visa request forms, the $50.00 application fee, and the supporting financial documentation. All forms are available on and can be downloaded or directly submitted from our website.

 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

Institutional TOEFL given at the end of each term;fully equipped IECP computer lab open and staffed with assistants 9 hours per day; students have access to all university computer labs, libraries, facilities, and organizations. Conversation partner program through Penn State's IHC. Academic and visa counseling and assistance with college/university applications.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

Airport pick up, assistance with housing. A full social/cultural program including field trips locally and to Washington, D.C.

 TRANSPORTATION:

Served by the State College/University Park airport and by bus service; train station is 30 minutes away.
