  DESCRIPTION:

The regular intensive English program is a multi-skilled course offered at 12 levels. Students study 20-25 hours per week in 4-week terms and multiples of 4-week terms. Courses combine academic study with elective courses. Conditional Acceptance available through Concordia University, Portland, Oregon.

a. $500 per 28-day session b. Between $25 (double occupancy) and $600 per month c. Negotiated Privately NOTE: There are no residence halls and no campus at the Portland Center. This is an urban downtown center.

 APPLICATION INFORMATION:

The Homestay Application should be completed if a homestay is desired. e. Most students need to apply for an I-20 form to obtain a student F visa. f. Students need documented proof of funds available to cover the costs of their study and living expenses for the time they wish to study in the United States. There are no deadlines for our programs. We will accept applications at any time. Early application for specific session is advised.

 TRANSPORTATION:

Students take advantage of local bus and light rail transportation to/from homestays, apartments. Monthly bus passes are not expensive. After passing a state driving test, students can provide their own transportation if they wish. Parking in the downtown area is expensive. IEI - Portland Center provides buses for long-distance field trips and activities.
