 LOCATION:

Located 25 minutes from San Francisco, Berkeley is a colorful and friendly city overlooking San Francisco Bay and the hills of Grizzly Peak. Berkeley is a university town, and the home of the world-famous University of California. Some of the many attractions include wonderful restaurants, renowned cultural attractions, performing arts, theater and numerous parks. Sporting activities include tennis, sailing, wind-surfing, hiking, swimming, etc.

 APPLICATION INFORMATION:

Students must send an application and $100 application fee. All fees are due on or before the start of course. Transfer students must submit a status report.

 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

Academic advising, computer lab, video equipment and lending library.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

Two to five activities per week including dinners, museums, parks, parties, weekend excursions, etc.

 TRANSPORTATION:

LSI is located in the center of Berkeley with convenient bus and underground transportation.
