  DESCRIPTION:

Rennert Bilingual has been teaching Intensive English Programs for over 25 years in New York City.  We offer the smallest group classes (maximum of 10 students) to provide the maximum value and learning opportunity for students to study English.  Our 10-level curriculum is taught by university trained, native English-speaking professional faculty with ample speaking practice among students and teachers.  Unique courses like our 20-30 hour/wk programs, Dance/English, Business English, TOEFL Preparation, Executive English Program and Internships make Rennert Bilingual the place to learn American English in New York City.

 HOUSING OPTIONS:

Residence Halls are available at five (5) locations in Manhattan and Queens with some meals included. Homestay Program is available in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens with some meals included. Hotel information is available upon request from the Admissions Office.

 HOUSING COSTS:

Living Accommodations cost is $189-385 per week, singles and doubles, with some meals included.

 LOCATION:

Rennert Bilingual is located in midtown Manhattan near Grand Central Station and the United Nations.  Our classrooms are located on the top floors of our building offering city views from all rooms.

 APPLICATION INFORMATION:

Application must be made in writing to the Admissions Office at least four (4) weeks prior to the start date.  The $100 Registration Fee must accompany the application.  Level 1 Beginning students start on the first Monday of each month. Level 2 Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Level students may start classes on any Monday.

 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

Academic advising is provided by the Director of English Studies.  Internships are offered on two levels for the practical application of language skills in the workplace.  Please inquire about our Junior Internship and Executive Internship Program.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

All students are provided with a Student Handbook for guidance in and around Rennert Bilingual and New York City.  They receive an orientation during their first day of classes.  A multi-modal learning center provides audio-visual support to the study of English and a busy activity schedule offers several events each week for students to visit sites around the city, including sporting events, cultural institutions, restaurants and shopping.  These activities are low-cost or free.

 TRANSPORTATION:

Rennert Bilingual is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan and is served by many public subway and bus lines.  Taxis are available in New York City, all day and all night.  Airport pickup is available for a fee, by request.

DESCRIPTION:

We offer a wide variety of Intensive English Programs which focus on the individual needs of every student.  Our Intensive Executive English Program is for the serious professional's need to learn job-related English for application in a career.  The Group 15 Program includes many services for a lower cost for larger organized groups.  The Express English Program is of great value to the US resident who needs to study in the evenings and on weekends.  Our Corporate sponsored programs can be geared to the needs of your staff and your company.
