  DESCRIPTION:

Berlitz On Campus offers 12 levels of instruction, each of which takes 4 weeks to complete. 4-week sessions begin without break throughout the year. Classes are held 5 days a week, for 6 hours each day. All skill areas are covered: grammar, conversation, reading, and writing. Elective classes for advanced students include: TOEFL prep., TOEIC prep., business English, idioms, vocabulary, literature and many others.

Berlitz On Campus is located at Adelhi University in beautiful Garden City, NY, a scenic, quiet and safe suburban community located just 40 minutes by railroad from the center of New York City. Campus facilities include indoor swimming pool, indoor track, tennis courts, weight room and many others. There are several excellent beaches nearby.

 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

Students may apply for conditional admission to any of more than 100 colleges, universities, preparatory schools and vocational schools. These institutions accept completion of level 12 in place of the TOEFL. Students can be conditionally admitted to these schools, if qualified, before departure from their country. Berlitz On Campus also administers the Institutional TOEFL monthly and is an certified TOEIC test center.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

Berlitz On Campus offers a complete array of weekend overnight trips, full and half day excursions and almost daily cultural, social or sports events. Students may, in addition, use all facilities at the university and attend all university activities.

 TRANSPORTATION:

Berlitz On Campus is located less than half a mile from the Long Island Rail Road which provides easy access to New York City, and other points of interest on Long Island. Airport taxi pickup service is available upon request.
