 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

State University of New York at New Paltz offers a wide range of academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Academically admissible students who complete the ESL Program are not required to present TOEFL scores for admission as undergraduates.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

Cultural Activities Program and orientation programs; all university services are open to ESL students

 TRANSPORTATION:

1.5 hours bus and train transportation to New York City; campus is near Stewart International Airport, Newburgh, New York

 OTHER PROGRAMS

DESCRIPTION:

Students at the Academic Purposes level in ESL classes can receive credits by Exam. Advanced and Academic Purposes level students are eligible to take one or two academic courses if they choose. Conditional Admission: Academically qualified students who lack only English proficiency may be admitted as undergraduates.
