DESCRIPTION:
The fully qualified faculty at the ELI, together with modern facilities, computer labs and personal attention are able to provide students of English with a unique learning experience. English language courses are designed for individuals engaged in academic pursuits or for professionals wishing to develop their oral and written communications skills.

Spring and Fall tuition:
16 week Core Course (320 contact hrs.) = $3360
16 Week Core Plus Course (400 contact hrs.) = $4200
16 week Intensive Plus Course (480 contact hrs.) = $5040
6 week Summer Course Tuition: = $2575 - $3200
Contract program costs vary from $250 - $550 a week.
Meal Plans range from $530 - $1,990 per semester.

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:
Visits to museums, cultural events (concerts, theatre, symphony, opera) and historic sites are arranged for ELI students. In addition, conversation partners, home visits, and guest speakers contribute to language immersion.
STUDENT SERVICES:
All Syracuse University ELI participants have access to a wide range of University facilities. These include sports (gymnasium, swimming, golf, tennis), films, campus dining, computer labs, and libraries.
TRANSPORTATION:
Syracuse Airport is 10 minutes from downtown Syracuse. Syracuse can be reached by train (Amtrak) or by road transport.
OTHER PROGRAMS
DESCRIPTION:
Classes can be specially designed for individuals or groups with specific needs. These courses fall under the heading of English for Specific Purposes: for example, English for Medical Purposes, English for Business, English for Science and Technology, and English for Law. In addition, courses designed to help students with particular skills are also available: TOEFL preparation, pronunciation/accent reduction, and seminar participation.
