  DESCRIPTION:

BOC offers 12 steps of instruction, each taking 4 weeks to complete. Four week session begin without breaks throughout the year. Classes are held 5 days a week, 6 hours each day. All skill areas are covered: grammar, conversation, listening, reading, and writing. Elective classes for advanced students include: TOEFL prep, business English courses, American culture courses, idioms, super-vocabulary, and others.

This quiet suburban campus in northern New Jersey is just 50 minutes from New York City.

 EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:

Students applying for BOC may also apply for conditional admission to any of more than 120 universities, preparatory high school or vocational schools. These schools accept completion of the BOC program in place of the TOEFL. Students can be conditionally admitted to these schools, if qualified, before departure from their country. Students in step 7 or above may audit or enroll for credit in university courses provided they meet the university requirements.

 STUDENT SERVICES:

BOC offers a complete array of weekend, overnight trips, full and half-day excursions, and almost daily cultural, social or sports events. Students may in addition, use most facilities at the university (gymnasium, library, health services etc.) and attend all university activities.

 TRANSPORTATION:

Airport pickup service can be provided from any of the New York City area airports. Additionally, buses and trains are available for travel into New York City.
