Preparation for high school or university, social or business requirements; cultural orientation trips and exchanges with American students; Low student / teacher ratio.

LOCATION:
The EKU English Language Instruction Program (EELI) is located at a major State university in a safe, friendly, low-cost town of about 22,000 population with proximity to Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
Students should send a high school or college transcript of their grades, a financial statement showing $2,600 for one session of support, a completed application, a $50 tuition deposit, and a housing deposit of $100, if applicable.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:
Experienced faculty with MA’s and Endorsements or Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language. University application / placement assistance.
STUDENT SERVICES:
Trips and special activities to orient students to North American culture and society outside the classroom, on campus, and in a typical U.S. community that help learners improve all language skills, both academically and non-academically.
TRANSPORTATION:
Airport pick-up service if arranged in advance.

DESCRIPTION:
Optional 9-hr weekly Night Lab. Special Summer Month Session with EKU’s Sister University in Japan - Yamanashi University students. ESP classes in Law Enforcement Assets Protection and Fire Safety Technology.
