DESCRIPTION:
The International English Programs at UC Davis include an Intensive English Program (five different areas of concentration), English for Special Purposes Programs (6), Professional Programs (6), and individualized Contract Programs.

state capital, and approximately 130 kilometers
from San Francisco.

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES/OPPORTUNITIES:
Students who have more than 500 on the TOEFL are able to enroll in UC Davis classes for credit. Students may enroll in any number of professional courses offered through University Extension. There are many student organizations and clubs that students may join during their studies.
STUDENT SERVICES:
The program offers a full range of student services including housing assistance, airport transportation, college advising, concurrent enrollment advising, immigration counseling, social and cultural activities, and weekend field trips to nearby destinations.
TRANSPORTATION:
Airport transportation is available for students when they arrive in Sacramento or San Francisco (a service fee is charged). Most students in Davis ride bicycles to and from classes as it is the most convenient form of transportation. City and university bus service is available.
